Experience

I gained extensive business writing/editing and public speaking experience as part of my corporate and nonprofit tasks (15 years.) I even wrote and delivered a TEDx talk at AT&T. I have been writing women’s health and wellness articles and running a related podcast for 5 years.

Research, Research, Research!

One of my strengths is dogged research. And when I conduct an interview, I use a combination of direct questions, listening skills, dialogue, and compassion.

Work Ethic

It’s not the devil that’s in the details; it’s the dedication. I am committed to the production of quality content. THE KNOWLEDGEABLE ACCURACY AND MESSAGE COME FIRST, but I also believe in editing and proofreading with an eye for detail and delivering by deadline.

As a writer, I know that relevant,

empathetic, and clear

communication matters.

The right approach for your health business that focuses on women’s needs is critical these days when the stakes are so high. Your growth depends on standing out among the crowd in terms of engaging and informing patients and clients about their options and how well you serve them.

WRITING TESTIMONIALS

Kimberly Mills Powell

I have known Terise Lang for 18 years. During that time frame, we worked together at three different companies. In each of her roles, the ability to communicate clearly and effectively through both oral and written channels was a key requirement. Terise mastered that skill. Whether it was a brief, an email or a formal presentation, Terise consistently demonstrated her acuity in understanding the intended audience and crafting the communication in a manner that maximized the effectiveness of delivery. I would highly recommend her for any writing or communications projects regardless of industry. She has a broad background and can adapt to most any environment.

Are you seeking skilled, creative, focused professional writing? Ms. Lang is your best choice to bring these characteristics to your writing. Her skills came to my attention when I was developing the framework for my first book. I was pleased to note that she respected the way I wanted the writing to develop and she emphasized the ideas so that the reader would better understand my meaning. Ms. Lang is a supportive collaborator, who helped me meet my deadlines and provide clear delineation between the chapters. In addition, her workplace skills will enhance the environment in your company. As I develop more stories, I will look to have her work with me to produce the finished products that exhibit my best skills.

As VP of a nonprofit named Intertribal Council of AT&T Employees (ICAE), one of my responsibilities was to publish a newsletter. I was blessed to have a uniquely talented and generous volunteer who was willing and able to be our Editor in Chief for the newsletter, Terise Lang. She did it all – from designing the layout, suggesting and researching articles, reporting on local events and even polling the members to see what would be of interest to come up with special features. As just one example, she created a running series where we featured the military service of members and their families. Each article had photos and personal stories.
