As this week’s video suggests, technological advances make our lives easier and more interesting every day–in some ways. But new questions and complications can arise from those same advances.

The trick is to take advantage of these tech resources, consult knowledgeable people, and protect yourself from the downsides to the best of your ability.

Fear and paranoia will never work as well as well-rounded education and intelligent discussion about both the advantages and the pitfalls.
