Healthy food, especially fruit, can make summer eating experiences delightful and fun. There’s a lot of room for variation.

Here are the instructions for this week’s puzzle above:

Just grab the fruit label from the options on the bottom and drag it up to the number of the correct fruit in the photo. It will turn the label green. When all the answers are right, you’ll enjoy a celebratory message!

Once again, I’ve constructed a puzzle that’s as much for fun as it is an opportunity to learn more about great nutrition. The spring and summer months provide so many light, delicious, and nutrition options for us to eat straight from the bush, mix into a yogurt smoothie, or create a mouthwatering frozen dessert. It makes me salivate just to think about them.

All it takes is a little creativity and–given today’s prices–some clever couponing to treat yourself once in a while.

As I’ve said many times, healthy eating can be as tasty and enjoyable as it is good for both the mind and body.

By the way, what’s your favorite fruit or fruit combination? I have to say that I still like combining a banana, kiwi, and some strawberries sweetened with a little stevia.
