The Most Important Connection of All

Hi Ladies! We have more connected devices than at any other time in our history. When you look at the dizzying array of cell phones, tablets, laptops, desktops, web-connected TVs, wireless headphones, microphones, even drones and satellites, you wonder how anyone keeps track of it all. And none of those devices include the most important connection.

These devices keep us connected to our coworkers, bosses, family members, friends, business associates, healthcare providers, products vendors–you name it.

But in the midst of all this, we need to remember not to lose ourselves amid all the noise, the chatter, and quite possibly, the confusion. We need to stay centered within ourselves.

That’s the value of techniques like meditation, quiet music, and solitary walks. Indulging in these pastimes doesn’t make you lazy or antisocial; instead, it makes you remember who you are, what you need or want out of life, and the importance of your relationship with your higher power.

Do you take time out to connect with yourself? If so, great! If not, learn to pencil it into your schedule.

Take care!
